Accessibility
How we work to make the site accessible and the limitations we know about.
Accessibility statement
Sierra Nevada Granada wants sierranevadagranada.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard, enlarge text or have a visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disability.
Accessibility status
We designed the site following good accessibility practices, using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as a reference: a clear heading structure, alternative text on images, keyboard navigation, color contrast, menus labeled for screen readers and a layout adapted to mobile and tablet.
A full accessibility audit has not been carried out yet, so we do not claim full conformance with those guidelines. We keep improving.
Content that may have limitations
- The interactive 3D map needs a mouse or touchscreen and a browser with WebGL. The useful information (how to get here, snow report and parking) is also available as text on other pages of the site.
- The webcams are streamed from third-party services and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
- Bookings are completed at bookings.sierranevadagranada.com, a Lueira platform with its own level of accessibility.
- The header videos are decorative, have no sound and contain no essential information.
